Is Easy!
To become a member, you must open a Share Savings account. This is your
"share" in the credit union. Deposit and maintain a minimum
balance of $100.00 and you are eligible for the many benefits of credit
union membership.
Family Membership!
After you join, your family members may also become members. Be sure to
let them know they can enjoy the same great financial products and services!
A Lifetime of Benefits
You are welcome to remain a New York Metro FCU member for life, even if
you move, change jobs, or retire. You can access your credit union accounts
by mail, fax, phone, our audio reponse teller, loan
by phone service, and at thousands of automated teller machines nationwide.
If your lifestyle does change, call or visit the credit union. We'll show
you how easy it is to continue to enjoy a lifetime of credit union benefits.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT
Patriot Act
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering
activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain,
verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an
account.
What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your
name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us
to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other
identifying documents.
Membership Sign-up Instructions
- Complete the Membership
Application.
- Come in to the credit union to complete the process, please bring
a photo identification.
